Rather than tell you that "Charges May Vary, and We Reserve The Right...etc, etc.", we think you should know WHY.
The average cost of CAR INSURANCE is over $400.00 per month per car, (and that's with a good driving record!), and we drive an average of 3,500 - 4,000 miles per month, per car. At current GASOLINE prices, that represents about $500.00 per month in gasoline. Add in an INSTRUCTOR , at an average pay of $12.00 per hour, and you add an additional $2,000.00 per month. In other words, each car has an attendant cost of about $2200.00 per month, or about $85.00 per day! And we haven't even begun to add in office, staff, licensing and other insurance fees!!
Having said that, here are our CURRENT fees ( We also have an "easy-pay" plan if needed. We don't turn away students just because of financial difficulties.. Call us for details):
DRIVER TRAINING : $125.00 per 2-hour session, or $290.00 if paid all at once (you save $85.00).
DRIVER EDUCATION : $135.00 for the full, 30-hour (25 clock-hour) course. The DMV has reviewed, and approved for use, our Internet Driver Education course. It is the same course as our classroom one, but can be done at your convenience, with only a $65.00 fee for the test and Certificate of Completion. EXTRA HOURS : After the initial 6-hour requirement, if you feel you need more hours, or if you don't have the time to meet the additional 50-hour requirement, we have a sliding scale of prices to assist you. Call us for details.
FLEET SAFETY : Our defensive driving seminars, for fleet accounts, is based on a 4-hour seminar session, with up to 10 attendees. The price is $240.00, or $30.00 per attendee over 10 attendees. Please call us for date availability or special needs.
